RIFLESSI PARTECIPA ALLA MILANO DESIGN CITY 2020

In occasione delle due settimane di Milano Design City, Riflessi apre al pubblico le porte del suo store in piazza Velasca, nel cuore della città, e presenta un allestimento dove fa da fil rouge un design caratterizzato dall’assenza di “taglie”, di dimensioni e proporzioni predefinite. Un design “libero” che diventa così davvero sartoriale e su misura, assicurando grande flessibilità progettuale e il massimo comfort nell’utilizzo.
L’azienda prende parte alla manifestazione per celebrare con i partner e i clienti dello store milanese questo momento di ripresa “ufficiale” degli eventi in presenza per il settore arredo (e non solo) e per trasmettere, assieme alle tante realtà che fanno parte dell’evento, un segnale forte di positività.
“Siamo felici di partecipare per la prima volta a questa Design Week autunnale in una città così importante per il design di tutto il mondo: dopo questi mesi è un bel simbolo per la ripartenza del il nostro settore…ed è solo l’inizio,” commenta il Presidente di Riflessi Luigi Fammiano.
Il “no size” è un concetto chiave che parla non solo della speciale attitudine al custom-made di Riflessi, ma
diventa la bussola per scoprire le novità presentate in esclusiva durante questa manifestazione. Per Riflessi,
infatti, un buon progetto nasce dalla ricerca di un design che sia ogni volta unico, ma che sia anche
veramente pratico, comodo e confortevole.
Per l’occasione, gli ampi spazi del pian terreno dello store con le scenografiche vetrate a tutt’altezza saranno
caratterizzati dalla presenza di una ricca selezione di sedute lounge in una vivace palette di colori. Riflessi
propone alcuni dei best seller del catalogo – come le sedute Carmen, Sofia, Nova – in una versione comfort
inedita. A queste si affianca la novità 2020, l’avvolgente seduta Meghan disegnata da Carlesi Tonelli studio.
Trait d’union di tutte queste eleganti sedute, che richiamano nei nomi e nelle silhouette il mondo femminile, è
l’estrema comodità e flessibilità, ottenuta grazie alla struttura sagomata ergonomica – realizzata con speciali
stampi di proprietà Riflessi – e l’imbottitura in poliuretano schiumato.
Protagonista accanto alle sedute, il tavolo Living presentato in una versione inedita, resa unica da un
imponente piano “fuori misura” in prezioso marmo Patagonia, un granito brasiliano, molto antico e pregiato di
colore bianco con ombre grigie, che sarà proposto per una serie limitata e numerata di tavoli Living e
Shangai .
Arricchiscono la scenografia, le versioni inedite di alcuni importanti orologi a parete dalle finiture di grande
impatto e la nuova madia “over-size” della serie Cubric in versione titanio spazzolato a mano.
L’illuminazione dello store è affidata a numerose lampade, tra cui spicca la nuova serie Twist in tutte le sue
declinazioni (da appoggio, terra e sospensione), che si identifica per la presenza di spirali di sfere bianche
satinate che si avvolgono intorno alla struttura tubolare in metallo dorato.

In occasion of the 2020 edition of the Milano Design City, Riflessi opens the door of its store in piazza
Velasca, in the heart of the city, and presents a set characterized by a design where predetermined sizes,
dimensions and proportions are absent. A “free” design that truly becomes custom-made and tailored,
allowing a great flexibility and the maximum comfort.
The company takes part in the event to celebrate with the partners and clients of the Milanese store this
official restart of the events in the design scene, and to convey, along with the other actors, a strong sign of
positivity.
“ We are very happy to participate for the first time at this fall edition of the Design Week in a city so important
for international design: after the past few months, it is a beautiful symbol for a new beginning in our
sector…and it is just the starting point ,” affirms Luigi Fammiano, President of Riflessi.
The “no-size” concept is an idea connected to Riflessi special attitudine toward custom-made design and it
becomes the cornerstone to discover the new projects presented in this occasion. For Riflessi, a good
project is the result of a search for a unique design that it is also practical and comfortable.
For the occasion, the ample spaces of the ground floor and the scenographic full-height windows are
characterized by the presence of a rich selection of lounge chairs in a vivid color palette. Riflessi presents
some of its catalogue’s best-sellers – as the Carmen , Sofia and Nova chairs – in a new comfort edition. Those
pieces are matched with the 2020 new piece, the embracing Meghan chair designed by Carlesi Tonelli
studio.
The common thread of all these elegant chairs, recalling in their names and in the lines the feminine
element, is the extreme comfort and flexibility, obtained thanks to the shaped ergonomic structure – created
with special molds owned by Riflessi – and the cushioning in foamed polyurethane.
Another protagonist alongside the chairs, is the Living table in a new edition, made unique by an important
oversized top in precious Patagonia Mable, a very ancient and precious Brazilian granite in white with gray
shades, that will be made available for a limited and numbered series of Living and Shanga i tables.
The set is enriched by the new versions of some large wall-clocks with eye-catching finishes and the new
oversize Cubric cupboard with a hand-brushed titanium finish.
The space is lightened by many lamps, among which the new Twist collection stands out ( in the table, floor
and suspension versions) with its main feature: a series of spiraling glass spheres in satin white winding
around a tubular golden metallic structure.
