GUGLIELMO MIANI, PRESIDENT OF THE VIA MONTENAPOLEONE ASSOCIATION
“One of the goals of the Association is to create events and opportunities to promote the associates’ activities. “La
Vendemmia”, in its fourth edition, is already an essential appointment in the schedule of the Association.
Throughout the years, the Association improved its focus, which is the successful combination of luxury Brands
and wineries, which takes advantage of the media coverage of the event. We need to consider the exclusiveness
and international connotation of this event. After the first edition, I became highly motivated to maintain and
improve this format, thanks to the enthusiasm and interest in participating from the Brands and the wineries,
and the involvement of Milanese excellence, like hotels, restaurants and Milan SEA airport”.
PAOLO PANERAI – DEPUTY EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF THE “COMITATO GRANDI CRU
D’ITALIA”
“Right this year, Italy has gained the worldwide record in wine production, better also than France. This signal
marks the importance of Italian wine sector and its ample varieties for Italian economy. The attendance of some
members of the Grandi Cru in the boutiques, the wine tasting at the PAC with all the 100 Grandi Cru, and the five
vertical tastings in the 5 star luxury hotels, enhance the excellence not only of Italian wines but also of an
international event on a worldwide scale like La Vendemmia”.
