Stubborn Heart<\/span><\/b>, aka Luca Santucci e Ben Fitzgerald, sono un nuovo duo, proveniente da Oxford e Londra, che offre un mix di pop e dubstep. E con mix si intende equilibrio, che a sua volta significa compromesso. La musica che fanno è stata etichettata come "post-dubstep", ma il "post" in questa equazione non sta solo per "viene dopo". Vuol dire che la musica, oltre a incorporare elementi precedenti, prende anche nuove direzioni. Se c’è innovazione qui, è il matrimonio tra ragazzi infelici e perforante brostep: Hurts incontrano Skrillex.
\n\tAffermano di far parte dì un più lungo lignaggio rispetto al continuum garage-dubstep, chiamando ciò che fanno “soul elettronico dal cuore” e citando influenze anni ’60 (Stubborn Heart<\/b> è il titolo di un vecchio brano northern soul di The Sheppards<\/b>), synth-pop anni ’80, così come techno, house e garage anni ’90. Luca Santucci ha un registro vocale acuto, intenso e ipnotico, paragonabile a quello di Thom Yorke<\/b>.
