La mostra Differenza e Ripetizione<\/span><\/em> (Gilles Deleuze) si concentra su un tema fondamentale: la Differenza<\/st1:personname> nel suo rapporto con l'identità e con la Ripetizione. Nonché<\/st1:personname> la possibilità che si ha attraverso l'arte di coniugare la sfera intima, privata, con l'esperienza collettiva ed esterna. La narrazione gioca un ruolo importante e si propone quale elemento di traino per un modo di concepire la creazione artistica su più e differenti livelli. D'altronde, l'esperienza dell’arte concettuale ci ha abituato ad un approccio di tipo prevalentemente filosofico e scientifico all'opera d'arte.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

Natalie Czech<\/span><\/strong> (1976 Neuss, Germania, vive e lavora a Berlino), lavora in totale connessione, omaggio e ridefinizione di classici della poesia contemporanea attraverso l'utilizzo della fotografia e dell'installazione. Ha esposto in istituzioni e gallerie private in Europa e nel resto del mondo. Recentemente allo Sprengel Museum di Hannover, alla Nassauischer Kunstverein di Wiesbaden, alla Kunsteverein di Düsseldorf, da Jennifer Chert a Berlino. È in programma, per la prossima primavera, una sua personale da Ludlow 38 a<\/st1:metricconverter> New York.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

Il lavoro di Jan Peter Hammer <\/span><\/strong>(1970 Kirchheim unter Teck, Germania, vive e lavora a Berlino) si caratterizza per la connessione tra l'elemento poetico e letterario e la riflessione sulle strutture e sovrastrutture riconducibili al potere politico, economico e finanziario. “Il banchiere anarchico” – il video in mostra – é un'opera che attraverso la fiction ripropone una lettura dell'attualità riadattando l'omonima novella del 1922 di Fernando Pessoa. Jan Peter Hammer ha esposto alla Kadist Foundation di San Francisco, al Centre d'Art Contemporaine di Ginevra, al Rotterdam Film Festival, all'Austrian Cultural Forum di New York, da Supportico Lopez a Berlino. Questa primavera presenterà il suo nuovo film “Monarchs and men” alla Fondazione Nomas di Roma.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

Rob Johannesma <\/span><\/strong>(1970 Geleen, Olanda, vive e lavora ad Amsterdam) opera principalmente attraverso grandi collages fotografici, in cui unisce contenuti legati all'informazione: pagine di quotidiani e grandi rappresentazioni connesse alla storia della pittura, di quella fiamminga in particolare. Riflessioni che analizzano, su più ed articolati livelli, le strutture e le profondità dell'immagine e della comunicazione ad essa correlata. Ha esposto allo Stedelijk Bureau di Amsterdam, al Museo Marino Marini di Firenze, al Centro De Vleeshal di Middelburg, all'Ar\/Ge Kunst di Bolzano. <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

Hendrik Krawen<\/span><\/strong> (1963 Lübeck, vive e lavora a Berlino) fonde dimensione grafica ed immagine realistica. Il suo, attraverso disegno e pittura, è un guardare a simboli, segni e architetture che lo sguardo quotidianamente incontra, ma anche alla musica, al graphic design e all'universo ad esso correlato. Ha esposto internazionalmente in istituzioni pubbliche e gallerie private. Da Sprüth Magers Projekte, di Monaco di Baviera, alla Pinakothek der Moderne, Munich, alla Sammlung Falckenberg di Amburgo, da Kerstin Engholm di Vienna, ed in più occasioni nella galleria Lia Rumma di Napoli e Milano.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

Nel lavoro di Alek O.<\/span><\/strong> (1981 Buenos Aires, vive e lavora a Londra) il materiale scultoreo ha un ruolo da protagonista in virtù della sua “biografia” legata a chi lo ha usato o posseduto; si tratta di un esercizio concettuale della memoria attraverso una possibile mappatura dell’esistenza.
\n\tRecentemente suoi lavori sono stati esposti al Castello di Rivoli; alla galleria Vela di Londra; alla Fondation Cartier di Parigi, al Palazzo Reale di Milano in occasione del premio Ariane De Rothschild.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

The exhibition Differenza e Ripetizione<\/span><\/em> (the name is taken from the philosopher Gilles Deleuze’s book “Difference and Repetition”) focuses on a fundamental theme: the concept of difference and its relationship with identity and repetition. It also explores the possibility of combining – through art – the intimate, private sphere with collective and external experience. Narration plays an important role and becomes a spur to artistic creativity on several different levels. Indeed, the experience of conceptual art has accustomed us to a predominantly philosophical and scientific approach to the work of art.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

Natalie Czech<\/span><\/strong> (born in 1976 in<\/st1:metricconverter> Neuss<\/st1:city>, Germany<\/st1:country>, lives and works in Berlin<\/st1:place><\/st1:state>) works in close connection with the classic works of contemporary poetry, redefining and paying homage to them through the use of photography and installation. She has exhibited at institutions and galleries in Europe and worldwide, most recently at the Sprengel Museum in Hannover, the Nassauischer Kunstverein in Wiesbaden, the Kunsteverein in Düsseldorf, and at Jennifer Chert’s gallery in Berlin (sei sicura che Lia vuole mettere questa galleria?). The work of Jan Peter Hammer<\/span><\/strong> (born in 1970 in<\/st1:metricconverter> Kirchheim unter Teck<\/st1:city>, Germany<\/st1:country>, lives and works in Berlin<\/st1:place><\/st1:state>) revolves around the link between poetry and literature and reflections on the structures and superstructures which can be traced back to political, economic and financial power. “Il banchiere anarchico” (the anarchic banker)– the video on display – is a work that offers a reinterpretation, through fiction, of current events by readapting the famous novella of the same name published by Fernando Pessoa in 1922. Jan Peter Hammer has exhibited at the Kadist Foundation in San Francisco<\/st1:city>, the Centre d'Art Contemporaine in Geneva<\/st1:city>, the Rotterdam Film Festival, the Austrian Cultural Forum in New York<\/st1:state>, and at Supportico Lopez in Berlin<\/st1:place><\/st1:state>. His reflections analyse – on various, complex levels – the structure and depth of the image and communication linked to it. He has exhibited at the Stedelijk Bureau in Amsterdam<\/st1:city>, the Museo Marino Marini in Florence<\/st1:city>, the De Vleeshal Centre in Middelburg, and at the Ar\/Ge Kunst Galerie Museum in Bolzano<\/st1:place><\/st1:city>. <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

Hendrik Krawen<\/span><\/strong> (born in 1963 in<\/st1:metricconverter> Lübeck, lives and works in Berlin<\/st1:place><\/st1:state>) combines graphics and realistic images. Using drawing and painting, his work involves looking at everyday symbols, signs and works of architecture but also at the music, graphic design and the universe related to it.  His work has been exhibited at the Sprüth Magers Projekte in Munich<\/st1:city>, the Pinakothek der Moderne in Munich<\/st1:city>, the Sammlung Falckenberg in Hamburg<\/st1:state>, the Kerstin Engholm Gallery in Vienna<\/st1:city>, and on several occasions at the Lia Rumma Gallery in Naples<\/st1:city> and Milan<\/st1:place><\/st1:city>.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

In the work of Alek O. <\/span><\/strong>(born in 1981 in<\/st1:metricconverter> Buenos Aires, lives and works in London), sculptural material plays the leading role due to the “biography” linked to the person who has used or owned it; it is a conceptual exercise of the memory that involves a potential mapping of existence.
