di tanto dai propri posti di lavoro &ndash; al contrario della maggior parte dei musicisti del suo tempo &ndash; Bach pu&ograve; ben definirsi &ldquo;europeo&rdquo; per l&rsquo;interesse mostrato verso tutte le forme della musica vocale e strumentale del suo tempo, uno studio ed una ricerca che accompagn&ograve; tutta la sua esistenza. Molte sono le testimonianze di questa visione &ldquo;europea&rdquo;, dall&rsquo;attenzione per la musica italiana testimoniata dalla copia autografa dei &ldquo;Fiori Musicali&rdquo; di Frescobaldi (purtroppo perduta durante l&rsquo;ultima guerra) e dalle numerose trascrizioni di concerti e sonate di musicisti italiani (come Vivaldi e Corelli), all&rsquo;influenza del mondo nord-tedesco (la visita a Buxtehude) nonch&eacute; l&rsquo;interesse per la musica francese documentato tra l&rsquo;altro dalla trascrizione autografa del Livre d&rsquo;Orgue di De Grigny.<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/span><\/font><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: justify; margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt\"><font color=\"#000000\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman'; font-size: 12pt; mso-fareast-font-family: 'ms mincho'; mso-bidi-font-size: 10.0pt\"><span style=\"mso-bidi-font-size: 10.0pt\">Il programma di questa sera intende mostrare come questa variet&agrave; di interessi possa essere concretamente ritrovata in numerose composizioni organistiche del Kantor.<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/span><\/font><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: justify; margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt\"><font color=\"#000000\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman'; font-size: 12pt; mso-fareast-font-family: 'ms mincho'; mso-bidi-font-size: 10.0pt\"><span style=\"mso-bidi-font-size: 10.0pt\">Il monumentale Preludio e Tripla Fuga in mi bemolle BWV 552 apre e chiude il concerto, cos&igrave; come apre e chiude <st1:personname productid=\"la Terza Parte\" w:st=\"on\">la Terza Parte<\/st1:personname> della Clavier&uuml;bung, la grande messa per organo che raccoglie i corali della liturgia e del catechismo luterano. Il numero tre, alla base della composizione, &egrave; una evidente allusione al mistero trinitario, fondamento della fede luterana. Il Preludio si apre sul ritmo dell&rsquo;Ouverture in stile francese, cui segue un secondo motivo in forma di eco ed un terzo, su rapide figurazioni di semicrome (lo Spirito Santo?). Nella fuga a 5 voci Bach sembra voler fondere lo stile antico (il primo tema) con il moderno stile concertato (secondo e terzo tema), creando una successione ritmica di grande suggestivit&agrave;, culminante nella pagina finale in cui i temi si sovrappongono. Potrebbe essere curioso segnalare come il primo tema sia identico a quello di un Ricercare di Sperindio Bertoldo, un compositore italiano di fine Cinquecento.<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/span><\/font><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: justify; margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt\"><font color=\"#000000\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman'; font-size: 12pt; mso-fareast-font-family: 'ms mincho'; mso-bidi-font-size: 10.0pt\"><span style=\"mso-bidi-font-size: 10.0pt\">Se nelle partite &ldquo;O Gott, du frommer Gott&rdquo; BWV 767 Bach riprende e rielabora l&rsquo;arte della variazione secondo i modelli di Pachelbel e di B&ouml;hm (che aveva personalmente conosciuto), nel &ldquo;Piece d&rsquo;Orgue&rdquo; BWV <st1:metricconverter productid=\"572, a\" w:st=\"on\">572, a<\/st1:metricconverter> dispetto del titolo, Bach sembra voler fondere, ancora una volta, suggestioni differenti: le brillanti pagine di apertura e di chiusura sembrano richiamare i virtuosi &ldquo;a solo&rdquo; di molti concerti violinistici vivaldiani, mentre nel &ldquo;Grave&rdquo; centrale, basato sull&rsquo;esacordo, sembra ispirarsi di nuovo al severo contrappunto vocale in stile antico.<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/span><\/font><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: justify; margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt\"><font color=\"#000000\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman'; font-size: 12pt; mso-fareast-font-family: 'ms mincho'; mso-bidi-font-size: 10.0pt\"><span style=\"mso-bidi-font-size: 10.0pt\">I rimanenti brani in programma rimandano pi&ugrave; o meno direttamente alla scuola italiana.<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/span><\/font><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: justify; margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt\"><font color=\"#000000\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman'; font-size: 12pt; mso-fareast-font-family: 'ms mincho'; mso-bidi-font-size: 10.0pt\"><span style=\"mso-bidi-font-size: 10.0pt\">Le tre fughe su temi di Albinoni BWV 946 e 950 e di Corelli BWV 579 rielaborano le partiture dei rispettivi compositori: se con la trascrizione dei Fiori Musicali Bach voleva presumibilmente studiare il contrappunto antico, con questo lavoro Bach sembra voler apprendere e padroneggiare le tecniche del contrappunto strumentale moderno.<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/span><\/font><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: justify; margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt\"><font color=\"#000000\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman'; font-size: 12pt; mso-fareast-font-family: 'ms mincho'; mso-bidi-font-size: 10.0pt\"><st1:personname productid=\"La Fantasia\" w:st=\"on\"><span style=\"mso-bidi-font-size: 10.0pt\">La Fantasia<\/span><\/st1:personname><span style=\"mso-bidi-font-size: 10.0pt\"> in do minore BWV 562 &egrave; di nuovo un brano in severo stile antico nel quale tuttavia Bach impiega una ricca ornamentazione che presenta non pochi riferimenti al gusto francese.<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/span><\/font><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: justify; margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt\"><font color=\"#000000\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman'; font-size: 12pt; mso-fareast-font-family: 'ms mincho'; mso-bidi-font-size: 10.0pt\"><span style=\"mso-bidi-font-size: 10.0pt\">Il Concerto BWV 978 &egrave;, infine, una trascrizione per tastiera del Concerto per violino e archi n. 3 da <span style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: italic\">L&rsquo;Estro Armonico<\/span> di Antonio Vivaldi. La partitura rivela il metodo di lavoro bachiano: dapprima la trascrizione delle parti estreme (violino solista e basso) e poi l&rsquo;aggiunta di parti di riempimento compatibilmente con le possibilit&agrave; della tastiera. Bach, tuttavia, non si limita a questa operazione, comune a tutti i compositori o trascrittori dell&rsquo;epoca, ma interviene spesso sul materiale originale, modificando le armonie ed i ritmi, con l&rsquo;intenzione di riportare equilibrio, coerenza e simmetria in quei passaggi vivaldiani che ne sembrano privi.<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/span><\/font><\/p>\n<p class=\"WW-Testonormale\" style=\"text-align: justify; margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt\"><font color=\"#000000\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman'; font-size: 12pt; mso-fareast-font-family: 'ms mincho'; mso-bidi-font-size: 10.0pt\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman'; font-size: 12pt; mso-fareast-font-family: 'times new roman'; mso-fareast-language: ar-sa; mso-ansi-language: it; mso-bidi-language: ar-sa\">Se questa scelta operativa ci illumina sulle idee musicali ed estetiche di Bach, nello stesso tempo va ad intaccare uno degli aspetti fondamentali dell&rsquo;estetica vivaldiana, legata alla retorica della <\/span><\/span><\/font><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: justify; margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; mso-hyphenate: auto\"><font color=\"#000000\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman'; font-size: 12pt; mso-fareast-font-family: 'ms mincho'; mso-bidi-font-size: 10.0pt\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman'; font-size: 12pt; mso-fareast-font-family: 'times new roman'; mso-fareast-language: ar-sa; mso-ansi-language: it; mso-bidi-language: ar-sa\">meraviglia ed al senso del teatro: in Vivaldi infatti la coerenza non &egrave; posta nella scrittura formale della partitura, ma nell&rsquo;effetto che essa produce sugli ascoltatori.
